Appointment With Priest or Deacon

One year prior to your marriage, you as couple (man & woman) should make an appointment with the priest or deacon to discuss the various steps that you must take in preparation for your marriage. At this time, the priest or deacon will set up several meetings with you.



There may be as many as six meetings. The meetings are for the following

• Completion of preliminary forms.
• Admission of the PMI (Pre-Marital Inventory)
• Discussion of the results of the PMI
• Discussion of the details of the ceremony
• Meeting of the immediate preparation
• Rehearsal meeting
